Native Hawaiians have been using native plants, seaweeds, minerals, clays and oils for centuries to maintain health and vitality. ʻŌlena (turmeric), laukahi (plantain), kukui nut oil, comfrey and ‘aloe have all been added to bring your skin back to life. So, malama ka ʻāina (take care of the land) and next time you're in the shower let the ʻāina malama you!

Aina:
Ōlena (turmeric) and Laukahi (plantain) flourish and have been used for many generations for healing. We make poultices with turmeric, comfrey, plantain and 'aloe and apply them to the skin to cure conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and rashes. We have combined this medicinal practice with our quality ingredients to create 'Āina Soap. 'Āina is soothing to the skin, and gentle enough for all ages.
People constantly ask us what the best soap is to use for children. Children, adults, and people of all ages should use a natural soap first an foremost. "Natural," by our standards, means they contain no synthetic fragrances, colorants, or chemicals; all ingredients are organic or wild harvested. We have taken a step further and custom-made a healing soap for children by combining ingredients that have been used in native medicine to soothe and moisturize young skin. The essential oils have been known to calm the fast, excited breath children have when they are anxious. Best of all, we created Love Child Soap to have big bubbles when it lathers... enjoy the rainbows!
Tea Tree Patchouli
Tea Tree Oil is native to Australia and, as a testament to its medicinal quality, the Australian Army included it in their first aid kits for its wound healing properties. Tea Tree Patchouli Soap is particularly popular in the summer months when the skin is more oily and prone to bacteria. We have heard amazing stories about its success with teenagers and their beautiful maturing faces. This soap also contains the unique oil, Patchouli, which is thick and dark in its pure form and its essence is incredible. In aromatherapy, Patchouli is used to balance emotions and reduce anxiety. This soap is a marriage of Royal Medicines and we often hear people say "it is the only soap I ever use."
Lavender & Rosemary
Lavender is a household name; most people know it for its ability to heal burns, insect bites, and scars. Rosemary also is well known to topically aid in muscle pains, arthritis, and to improve circulation. We combined equal amounts of these herbs in plant and oil form with Jojoba Oil to add to this soap. Jojoba Oil was used by some Native Americans for sores, wound healing, and sunburn.
Mama’o
Mama'o is the best soap to take camping or to other outdoor events. It gets its name from its greenish color, or Mama'o, which is derived from Horsetail Powder. Horsetail Powder is an herb that is well known in skincare for its softening ability as well as its antiseptic and analgesic properties. The Essential Oil combination is important in this soap; Orange Essential Oil has uplifting properties for the mood as well as the immune system; Camphor Essential Oil helps to reduce swelling, bruises and sprains; Citronella Essential Oil is a powerful astringent and insect repellant. So, take Mama'o and go enjoy the great outdoors.
Sage
Many native peoples use Sage as a medicine. Topically, Sage is found to be anti-fungal, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory. When showering with Sage Soap, be mindful of its rich, skin-moisturizing oils, as well as the sacredness this herb has held for many generations. Allow your shower to be a ritual of honor.
Rosemary & Peppermint
This is the soap with the tingling effect. For the smell and feel of Peppermint, we added Menthol Crystals which are derived from the oils in the peppermint leaf. Menthol Crystals are used to temporarily reduce pain in the body by numbing the nerve endings that send the feeling of pain to the brain. Rosemary Peppermint Soap contains the perfect combination of high quality oils and herbs used to nourish and rejuvenate the skin. This bar just might be the fountain of youth!
